The story of the motel building dates back to 1964, when the original building was constructed as part of the Eagle Inn in nearby Ephraim. In 1981, the building was moved via water barge to its current location in Fish Creek. The duplex building was built in 1972, and the eight suites were a later addition, built in 2009 to expand the property’s offerings.
